Terms & Conditions

We accept bookings in advance of any work undertaken. For tuition we accept block bookings of half termly in advance. To qualify for the discounted half termly rate, full payment must be made by the Friday before the first day of each half term by bank transfer to our account.

Consultancy and Training terms and conditions will also be agreed in advance on an individual basis. Any contracts entered into will be deemed to be subject to English Law.

Safeguarding

Ian has an enhanced DBS, which is on the update service, and has received relevant certificated training in Safeguarding, Child Protection and the Prevent Programme, GDPR Essentials and Online Safety.

Cancellation Policy

Whilst we would love all our students to enjoy 100% attendance we understand that there will be times when illness or holidays mean that does not happen. We allow for 2 weeks pre-booked holidays during term time, which will be credited to your next half term. Unfortunately, as a small business, we cannot offer refunds for illness or technical failures, where that is beyond our control, but will give credit for lessons missed where enough notice is given, so that the time slot can be re-booked by another student. For safeguarding reasons a parent or guardian should be with the pupil during any online lesson, although they will not be required to take part in the teaching or learning taking place, or be on camera. Online lessons will take place using Zoom technology with a link being provided by ILB Education in advance.

Should you wish to cancel booked lessons we require four weeks notice of that cancellation.

Prices and Terms (June 2021)

Each online lesson will be up to 45 minutes one to one tuition with a further 5 minutes available for feedback to parents / guardians at the end of each lesson.

For individual one-off lessons the current price is £40.

For half termly lessons booked in advance the price is £30 per lesson, when the full half term is paid in line with the above.

For families where one parent or guardian is an NHS worker we are currently offering a 10% discount on the above rates.

For consultancy or INSET training our prices start at £500 per day or £300 per half day. It is better to get in touch at the earliest opportunity as we provide a quality and bespoke service, planned to meet the needs of our clients.
